Paid for Itself in Spades

This book is exactly what I was looking. I was not looking for a book on investing, that's what my $70k worth of Finance and Accounting degrees provided. I wanted a book that helped me understand the market and trading better, and this book did very well for me. In fact, it still does well for me.
I finally hit my minimum balance and started conservatively trading away using all of the techniques I could remember. I had a solid exit and entrance strategy, stuck to the 2% loss rule, and avoided the fear/greed aspect of trading. The markets are definitely not easy to read, but this book gives you just enough confidence to navigate the many, many nuances of the trading world. For a complete beginner, I feel so much more confident and have been able to spot the start of a trend almost immediately.
If you are looking for a book on investments, you need to go elsewhere. This is a book on day trading.

Using this book as a survival manual... no more low-paying jobs for me!

The best book on day-trading and preparing for the work of being a day trader I've found. Have read other books but this one sets the standard!
She is clear, concise, and "to the point" on her descriptions on the mental and emotional requirements of becoming a successful day trader. I found out that I made many mistakes because I just didn't know about how to approach day-trading effectively and prudently. Her book cuts past the theory and (ultra-expensive courses out there) the market rhetoric and takes you by the hand on reading the indicators, knowing the difference between Level I & II software systems. Nothing is left to chance in understanding how to become a successful day trader. I also ordered the second book as I was very impressed with the wealth of information (and shared experiences) that she puts out.
Her writing style is clear and easy-to-understand. I'm preparing to day trade soon as I want to prepare for retirement down the road. In addition, will not be looking for another job should my present one be eliminated or go away. Just stay home and day trade! Read this book as if your next paycheck depends on it and you'll succeed.

Good, Bad, and Ugly.

Good: This is the best introductory book that I have found on day trading. It is exactly what it claims to be. Toni’s book is concise, structured, well written, and useful. If you haven’t read anything on day trading, this is the place to start. You can study this book and use the information in a practical way.
Bad: I couldn’t find too many problems with her book given my experience and knowledge, which is limited to Pring, Edwards-Magee, Hill, Murphy, and the standard text books.
Ugly: I looked for something ugly but couldn’t find anything. First, I don’t know if she went to college or how she became a trader. Second, I don’t know if she was a good trader. Third, I don’t know why she left the field. For all I know she didn’t go to school and wasn’t a good trader; however, she’s a good teacher at this level and her book is well worth the money!
