LLC simple

I recently bought this book and found it to be very informative and to the point. I looked at other books, but most were wordy. My time is limited and I needed a book that would provide me the info without the fluff. There is a good state information section that provides info like Addresses, URLs, Legal URLs, Name Requirements, and form descriptions. The actual forms are not provided but the resource is given. I would recommend this book for someone looking for enough information to answer your questions and give you guidance in going forward.

Very informative

This book breaks what you need to know to form an LLC down nicely and easily by chapter. You can skip around if you'd like, but I wanted to make sure I knew everything about the topic and read it straight through. Full of helpful examples to illustrate the concepts just presented. Definitely recommend to others looking to learn about corporate structures and most specifically, the LLC.

Not "All You Need To Know"

I was hoping to be able to set up the LCC with this book, but apparently I needed to get the "How to Form an LLC" book (which I'm NOT going to do).

I've read the Nolo California Corporations book and it already covered much of the info here. What I was looking for was help with writing good articles of organization and operating agreement (specifically for a 1-person LLC).

The operating agreement example he gives is not specific to a one-person firm. A prudent person might change the language in his example operating agreement to reflect that the LLC is composed of just one person. Also, the book does not cover the fact that in CA you can specify additional info in the Articles, such as rules for admitting new members.

Awfully light for "All you need to know".

About the Author
Charles Edge has been working with Apple products since he was a child. Professionally, Charles started with the Mac OS and Apple server offerings in1999 after years working with various flavors of Unix. Charles began his consulting career working with Support Technologies and Andersen Consulting. In 2000, he found a new home at 318, a consulting firm in Santa Monica, California which is now the largest Mac consultancy in the country. At 318, Charles leads a team of over 40 engineers and has worked with network architecture, security and storage for various vertical and horizontal markets. Charles has spoken at a variety of conferences including DefCon, BlackHat, LinuxWorld, MacWorld and the WorldWide Developers Conference. What a way to start

As with all of Robin's books, I was struck by her clear writing style. I found the examples right to the point, and I was able to immediately apply the material to projects. The improvement was noticed by others, so I know it was progress. If you are trying to get started in design using InDesign, this is a fine place to start. The projects are on the smaller level, but for a beginner like me it allowed for great strides in learning some of the other more complex aspects of the InDesign program. It is a great addition to "The Non-Designer's" series for those who want to communicate in print more clearly and powerfully.

A wonderful fantasy

I am so glad I purchased this book. I lost my self in another world for a couple of days. The author brought forth a world of love, intrigue and under the sea fantasy. It was well written and easy to understand. Oftentimes when I read fantasy books names of people and places are hard to pronounce, and ruin the flow of the story for me. I didn't get that from this book. I was in a different world yet it was a world I could so easily picture. I look forward to reading more of this world from this author.

I recommand this book for mermen and pirates lovers, yaoi ones (Boy's love) of course. I have fallen for this nice story and can't wait to read book 2. And Shira Anthony is a so nice person. I had talked to her via Facebook, and she is lovely and kind, answering to my questions in no time with kind words.
I look forward to read more about her books !!

Amazing and refreshing!

I stumbled upon this gem while looking for something new but still within the supernatural realm and instantly fell in love. The writing is wonderful and technically sound, though there were a few lulls in the flow from time to time. Most often it was one character or another having inner turmoil that might have dragged on a bit longer than I like but was quite easy to overlook. The plot is inventive and well thought out as well. I loved the authors ability to describe a scene and make you feel like you're a part of it.

If you like M/M romance, pirates, and sexy mermen then this is tailor made for you!

Congratulations to Shira Anthony on providing her readers with a wonderful escape!
